We’re looking for a Sous Chef to join the restaurant and bar team at the Weld Arms public house on the Lulworth Estate.

The Lulworth Estate in Dorset is a stunning privately owned country estate, home to the world famous Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove

We are looking for someone who would like to expand their skills and knowledge under the guidance of a highly experienced Head Chef with a strong, fresh food outlook.

Experience Required

• Minimum one year experience of working at Sous Chef level
• Capable of running a kitchen in the Head Chef’s Absence
• Proficiency in achieving KPIs
• Understanding of current food hygiene legislation including kitchen risk assessment

A passion for creating great dishes and supervising a busy team is a must.

We are looking for an enthusiastic kitchen porter to join the hospitality team at our busy pubs on the Lulworth Estate.

Duties include:

• Cleaning and storage of crockery, cutlery, kitchen surfaces and equipment
• Food preparation
• Adhere to opening and closedown procedures
• Maintaining health and safety standards
• To be able to work within a busy kitchen team
• Provide great customer service
• Flexible and willing to help in other departments as required
